1. Tip the chickpeas into the goblet of a liquidiser and with the motor running, pour in a steady stream of oil which will blend to make a rough paste - it is entirely up to you how smooth or rough you want the finished dip.
2. Scrape the chickpea paste into a mixing bowl and mix in the rest of the ingredients.
3. Place into a small serving bowl and drizzle with oilve oil and garnish with a slice of black olive. Cover and chill.
