Bread Machine Rolls

My husband just loves these rolls 'fresh' for breakfast. I make a batch, freeze the cooked rolls and each morning he can quickly defrost one in the microwave.....easy!

Ingredients

Recipe

  • 1 egg, beaten & topped up to 380 ml with water
  • 3 tbs skimmed milk powder
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1litre white bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp sal
  • 1pkt fast action yeast

Bread Machine Rolls Directions

  1. 1. Tip the ingredients in the order they appear, into the bread machine (or according to your manufacter instructions). Activate the dough programme.
  2. 2.Turn the dough onto a floured board and cut into 12 even sized pieces. Lightly knead and shape into rolls. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking parchment. Leave to rise for 1 hour, in a warm place.
  3. 3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C.
  4. Bake about 15 minutes until they are a light golden colour and sound hollow when tapped.
