Quick Jam or Syrup Sponge Pud

  • 3 tbs jam or golden syrup
  • 100 g butter, softened
  • 100 g caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g SR flour

Quick Jam or Syrup Sponge Pud Directions

  1. 1. Place the jam or golden syrup into the base of a greased 1ltr. microwave pudding basin. Microwave on High for 30 seconds.
  2. 2. {mosgloss=cream} together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and {mosgloss=fold} in the flour. Place the mixture on top of the jam or golden syrup.
  3. 3. Cover with microwave cling film and cook on High for 5 minutes until risen and set. Stand for 5 minutes before turning out.
