Apple Cake

A quick, easy variation of the All-In-One Sponge Cake recipe.

  • 1 quantity of All-In-One Sponge Cake mixture
  • 2 apples
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 tbs chopped nuts

Apple Cake Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees C; Base line a 20cm baking tin
  2.  1. Peel, quarter, core and finely slice the apples.
  3.  2. Turn the cake mixture into the cake tin. Arrange the apple slices on top - push into the mixture a little. Sprinkle with the cinnamon and nuts.
  4.  Bake about 40 minutes until risen and firm to touch.
