  • 300ml milk
  • 50g butter
  • 175g plain flour
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 eggs, separated

Waffles Directions

  1. Gently heat the butter and milk together then once the butter has melted allow to cool. Combine the flour, baking powder and sugar in a mixing bowl; beat in the egg yolks followed by the milk. In a clean, grease free bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff then fold into the batter. Heat the waffle iron according to the manufacturers instructions, this quantity will make about 8.
